Meet Jamie Lynn, the cheerleader turned baker

Jamie started baking and decorating back in 2010 while she was attending the University of Texas at Dallas. After graduating with her bachelors of science in business administration she went on to work at a local bakery where she climbed the ladder and became the bakery manager and wedding cake coordinator. Jamie went on to work at two other bakeries and continued to perfect her craft. She has been featured in Brides of North Texas, hosted baking segments on Fox 4 Good Day, and designed cupcakes that were selected by Oprah Winfrey to be on the O List in O Magazine.

Before Jamie’s baking career started to take off she spent most of her time dancing. She has been a professional cheerleader for ten years; cheering in the NBA, NHL, NFL, and more! Before retiring she spent her last year dancing with the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders as one of their captains. During her cheerleading career, Jamie had the opportunity to volunteer for her community, travel the world, and participate in two U.S. military tours. On tour she was able to engage with our troops overseas by participating in day to day activities on military bases.

Jamie specializes in creating cakes that look as good as they taste. She is an expert with buttercream and has even been given the title, “Buttercream Queen” from her former co-workers. Growing up Jamie was always getting into arts and crafts and helping her mom in the sewing room. Jamie says, “I have creativity running through my veins.” She loves creating one of a kind desserts that are sure to please all your senses.
